Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego „NIEWIADÓW” S.A. is a domestic leader in the production of trailers. The company's offer includes luggage trailers, cargo trailers, box van and commercial trailers, boat trailers and caravans. The largest outlets for this group of products are: France, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Germany. The trailers from Niewiadów are offered through hypermarket chains, such as Univert (France), Nor Auto and Praktiker. In Poland, their distribution is based on the network of 52 dealers. Retail sale is carried out by the factory shop and an on-line shop. The company's maximum production capacity is estimated at a level of 25 000 trailers per year. Approximately 75% of the production in this segment is sold abroad. The share of Zakłady Sprzętu Precyzyjnego „NIEWIADÓW” in the domestic trailer market is estimated at approx. 10% with the yearly absorptiveness of nearly 35 000 units. The second important field of company's activity is the production of home appliances, especially dryers for food products. The company's maximum production capacity in this segment is estimated at about 160 000 units per year. Also, the Factory has a tooling plant with a capacity of 65,000 working hours, specialising in the production of injection moulds and punching dies. The last field of "NIEWIADÓW” activity is a special production, mainly for military needs. The company has well-developed infrastructure. Situated within the area of 25.6 hectares there are 52 buildings with the total usable area of 58 165 m2. The company's strategy aims to extend the line of currently produced caravans by "sandwich" and "sandwich-laminate" caravans, to develop a line of specialist trailers, to improve its manufacturing processes and make use of standard components supplied by specialist suppliers, to introduce a product line designed for preparing and storing health food. Among the new products there should also appear refrigerators for fruits and vegetables, steam cookers for vegetables, meat and fish, and plastic post boxes for the needs of EU countries. The stock of machinery will be expanded in order to start the processing of plastics for the needs of automotive industry.
