The ceremonial signing of the documents between Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. and Guangxi LiuGong Group

On December 21, 2011, in China, in the presence of President of the Republic of Poland Bronisław Komorowski and the Deputy Prime Minister of the PRC, Li Keqiang, the summary of the stipulations regarding selling of the Oddział I of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. was signed. The document was signed by the Chairman of the HSW S.A., Krzysztof Trofiniak, and the Chairman of the LiuGong Group, Mr. Zeng Guang'an.
Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. and Guangxi LiuGong Group have been implementing a joint venture aimed at commencing activities of the LiuGong Machinery Poland, in Poland. The binding agreements (in the form of notarial deeds) finalizing the transaction which had been under preparation for the past two years, will be signed in January 2012. Funds acquired from the sale of the organized part of HSW S.A. (so called: “civilian part”) will be allocated within Huta Stalowa Wola and will serve to modernize the armament and military equipment and strengthening the position of the company within the defense sector.
