Description of activity
The Company provides hotel and catering services. Also, its business includes operating short-stay accommodation facilities, rental of real property and operating secondary level vocational schools. It owns more than 1600 beds of various standards: two 2-star hotels, student dormitories and worker hostels in Kraków, a single 2-star “Boruta” Guest House in Zakopane, and “Trzy Korony” Holiday Centre in Krościenko. Real property for rent (floor space to let exceeds 15 thousand sq.m. and accounts for 34% of overall space) offered by the Company includes office, commercial service and storage space. The Company intends to adapt its existing facilities to open a modern hotel – tourist centre with catering facilities in Kraków - Nowa Huta. Also, there are plans to retrofit the “Trzy Korony” Holiday Centre in Krościenko to focus it on providing rehabilitation /leisure/ sports services and set up a series of spa & wellness facilities. Company’s business is based on cooperation with Polish tourist agencies as well as those of Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, France and Germany. Through active participation in domestic and foreign tourist trade fairs the Company intends to strengthen cooperation with the existing domestic and foreign tourist agencies and seek for new ones, particularly from Scandinavia. The Company operates on an attractive market for the tourist industry – Małopolska region. A great number of towns such as: Kraków, Wieliczka, Oświęcim, Wadowice are well known throughout Europe. Also, company’s premises are situated on sites visited by great number of mountain tourism lovers (Krościenko, Zakopane). The increase in the number of investment projects financed from EU funds, granting the EURO 2012 to Poland – are only the major factors that contribute to increasing demand for accommodation and usable space. Working together with people representing various industries – not only those associated with tourism but also with people operating in the real property sector enables permanent cooperation and care for the quality of services provided by the Company.
