Description of activity

The company operates within the framework of the National System of Service [Krajowy System Usług (KSU)] for Small and Medium Enterprises and National Innovation Network [Krajowa Sieć Innowacji (KSI)] for the SME sector. The company renders consulting services of a general and pro-innovation nature, as well as training, and financial support services. The company cooperates with local and international consortia pursuing joint ventures funded by the European Union. In addition, the Agency manages two real estates located in Bielsko-Biala. The Company’s major clients include, among others: micro, small and medium enterprises, individuals interested in engaging in business activity, as well as local government units.
The Beskidy Technology Incubator [Beskidzki Inkubator Technologiczny (BIT)], which operates within the framework of the Regional Development Agency, focuses its activity on providing pro-innovation services for SME sector, promotion of companies and their products, as well as assistance in accessing financial resources and scientific and business partners. The Beskid Training and Conference Centre structure operates in the structore of BIT and it renders technical assistance in the preparation of conferences, seminars and workshops, and provides accommodation.
The Regional Development Agency has quality assurance certificates, including ISO 9001:2000, the "Standardization of KSU Centres" certificate in the provision of advisory and pro-innovation, information and training services for micro, small and medium enterprises, the entry in the KSI and the entry in the Training Institutions Register run by the Regional Employment Agency in Katowice.
