Fabryka Wentylatorów "OWENT" is a company with decades of tradition and experience in the production of industrial fans. The company has a sophisticated, well recognizable brand and an established and stable position on the domestic market. The factory produces many types of high-performance fans for different purposes, whose construction is based on proven and constantly modernized technology. The Company produces the following types of fans: radial fans for room ventilation, boiler blowdown and exhaust gas extraction, radial drum fans for room ventilation and air-conditioning, high-pressure radial fans for air supply and exhaust gas extraction, axial-radial fans for pneumatic transportation, axial and roof fans for room ventilation, and special ventilators: explosion-proof with a certificate, acid-proof, resistant to aggressive chemicals (rubber-coated), heat-resistant (up to 500 ºC) and with increased leakproofness.
Additionally, the company’s range also includes axial regulating apparatuses with manual or actuator control, shock-absorbing bases with vibration insulators, silencers and acoustic enclosures, and other specific fans and rotors.
To fully meet the high requirements of the customers, the Company provides warranty and post-warranty service, fan repairs, assessment of the fans’ technical condition, measurement of vibration, noise and temperature, supply and installation of products and technical advice.
The recipients of the Company's products are primarily industrial operators. The Company carries out low-volume production, which follows an individual order of the recipient. Products manufactured by the Company are primarily used in small and medium power generation applications, iron and steel manufacturing processes, cement and lime manufacturing processes, as well as in pulp, paper, chemical, automotive or food industries and in the construction and ventilation and air conditioning.
The Company sells its products primarily in the domestic market. Export sales are very small (they accounted for 0.44% of total sales in 2009). The Company’s development strategies provide for the gradual investment process aimed at restoring and modernizing the machinery and the improvement of the spatial organization of the production process by concentrating it in one technological line (the construction of a new production room), which should allow for increasing the efficiency and production capabilities of the Company, widening the product range, in particular the largest fans dedicated mainly to heat engineering, and ultimately strengthening the Company’s position on the market of fan manufacurers.
