Description of activity

The Company operates on the agricultural supply market. It has been operating on this market for more than 50 years. Its market position is well established with the widely recognizable “Agroma” brand. The Company conducts the sale of a variety of tractors, agricultural machinery as well as spare parts for those tractors and machinery. In addition, it offers a wide range of other goods intended for agriculture, such as tyres, batteries, bearings, oils, accessories as well as fertilizers, etc. The Company has 3 wholesale and retail centres located in Kielce (the seat of Company’s headquarters), Radom and Skopań. The two latter ones also function as operating units. Their task is to supply the Company’s own retail facilities (retail stores) and wholesalers, as well as to conduct the retail sale. The Company owns 18 retail outlets located in the following provinces: Świętokrzyske, Podkarpackie, southern part of Mazowieckie province, Łódzkie and Lubelskie. The above-mentioned centres manage retail stores located in their closest vicinity. The Company operates in the area covering approx. 10% of Poland’s area. More than 80% of Company’s revenues come from retail sales. At present, the Company analyses the market with the aim to open new retail outlets and to readjust the existing outlets to the expected European standards. The main objective of its investment plans is to modernize the information system and to purchase more efficient computer equipment. The issue of modernization and expansion of the tractor service unit is also considered. The market on which the Company operates has a specific agricultural structure. Because of the market characteristics the Company focuses on an average price and quality range of goods, most suited for the needs of the local agriculture. Individual orders for more expensive tractors and machinery are also executed. Farming area expansion processes that have been taking place recently in the countryside will be more clearly visible in the coming years.
