Description of activity

The subject of Company’s business is the production of metal constructions (50-60% of total sales volume), metal tanks, containers and receptacles (around 19-25% of total sales volume) and machining of metal products. The Company operates in co-operation with domestic and foreign investors. Essential domestic customers are companies having Mostostal, Energomontaż in their names, and Energoinstal, Silexim. Among foreign customers – the most important ones are German companies: TUBE-TEC, SPE, and LTG KBA. The most important strategic goals of the company are to focus on manufacturing and selling constructions as well as tanks and containers on domestic and foreign markets. ŁFM CELPA S.A. operates on the market of steel constructions, pressure and pressure-less tanks, as well as parts for the paper industry. In line with economic development of individual countries the demand for steel constructions (of every type) grows significantly; this is also the case with market competition, new plants are built and the existing ones change their product line. Due to its manufacturing capabilities (high halls with equipment adopted to the manufacture of large size and high weight constructions), ŁFM CELPA S.A., is one of few companies in Opole province which have enough capacities to undertake jobs involving the manufacture of high-sized constructions. With its experience and product quality the Company has a dominant position in this field, in particular, as far as cooperation with Mostostal and Energomontaż companies is concerned. Management Board sees even more possibilities in this field. According to the Company, another product which may offer attractive prospects is the manufacture of tanks and equipment used for gas purification, sold to Germany. Demand for the above equipment is continually increasing and new contacts with German companies: TUBE-TEC, LTG, KBA contribute to constant increase of the production volume. The Company is the only outsource contractor supplying such equipment for the German market. Of significant importance for the Company are spare parts for paper-making machines installed throughout the country in paper factories in: Kwidzyn, Świecie Kostrzyń, in which wearing parts such as rotors, screens, shafts contribute to significant increase in Company’s sales revenues. According to investment plans, the Company intends to purchase machines for mechanical cutting (presses) and milling (rolling mills).
