Description of activity

The objects of the company include iron founding (manufacture of iron casts for agricultural and textile machinery, electrical appliances and car parts), machining and coating, as well as services in the scope of machining, iron painting and decorative casting. The company’s product portfolio includes casts of grey iron (grade ŻL 150, 200, 250 and 300) and spheroidal cast iron (grade ŻS 500).
Iron casts are mainly supplied to leading domestic manufacturers of agricultural machinery. With respect to exports, company products are mainly supplied to manufacturers of compressors, agricultural machinery and marine engine parts. Currently, domestic sales account for approx. 55%-60% of total production. The remaining part of the production is exported to EU countries (mainly to Italy and Germany). Sales are conducted based on monthly purchase orders. The company has rolling contracts with two biggest suppliers which are subject to renewal every subsequent production year. In terms of cast manufacturing, the maximum production capacity is 190 tons of the so called good quality cast iron monthly. With its present potential, BAWOROWO is able to process approximately 50% of this amount. The company owns large floor space which, after suitable adjustments, may allow it to significantly increase the current production capacity.
According to the development strategy, the company will aim at extending the range of spheroidal casts through investments associated with the introduction of an induction furnace. Increasing its market share in the sales of the so called machined cast iron will be possible following the purchase of new CNC machines.
Founding is one of the major industrial sectors, with suppliers of components used across almost all industrial branches by a range of companies delivering their final products to customers. Currently, there are about 200 cast-iron foundries in Poland.
