Description of activity

The Company’s core activity is the provision of passenger transportation services within Poland and abroad. The vehicle fleet of PKS w Kielcach S.A. includes 80 buses. The bulk of activities of PKS w Kielcach S.A. are services covering the area of Świętokrzyskie Province. The Company also operates long-distance services, including coach lines to other EU countries. PKS w Kielcach S.A. owns a bus station in Kielce which was built in a geographically advantageous location, at the crossing point of main traffic routes extending far into the territory of south-western Poland. The assumptions defined in the development strategy include plans to renew the existing fleet of buses, implement an integrated system of vehicle fleet management, increase the quality of transportation services, change the Company’s organisation structure, grant access to the Company’s bus station to other carriers and their passengers, as well as to implement incentive based management system and ongoing monitoring of drivers’ work.
