Description of activity

The company was established as a scientific, design and consultation base for the Polish chemical resource industry. Its market position and reputation are based on nearly 50 years of active presence on the domestic and foreign markets. In Poland, CHEMKOP enjoys the virtually monopolistic position of consultant in the fields of: underground storage engineering, technology of salt mining by leach extraction, ultrasound probe measurements and laboratory services related to mechanics and salt rock leaching. The company offers underground storage of gaseous and liquid fuels in salt rocks; mining and processing of chemical resources, especially exploitation of salt by means of the borehole method; exploitation of natron; geology of deposits of chemical resources, and hydrogeology. The company also provides services consisting in application of geophysics in mining, geology and underground storage; underground storage of radioactive and industrial waste; geotechnics and mechanics of rocks and soil for mining and civil, water and industrial engineering.
The company offers research works, engineering works and services, know-how, services of consultants and experts, supervision over projects and delivery of specialist equipment upon order. At present, the main customers of the company’s services are Soda Sanayii from Turkey, Investgas S.A. and Inowrocławskie Kopalnie Soli „Solino” S.A. The company operates in the market niche occupied by institutions and companies carrying out exploration and making comprehensive use of salt deposits. High competence allows the company to actively participate in investments outside Poland, mainly in France, Turkey and China.
Long-term strategy of CHEMKOP is based on constant development of the research and scientific base, as well as the mineral resources and commercial reputation, with simultaneous consolidation of the position of a technological leader of the Polish salt industry. In recent years the company made serious investment purchases. In the following years, the company intends to continue investments and modernisation of its existing equipment.
