Description of activity

The Company specialises in the production of machinery and equipment for repairing and maintaining road and its closest vicinity, of spare parts for the produced machinery and equipment as well as providing services in the area of machining, plastic forming and welding. The Company has the highest market share (50%) in the production of sprayers. The Company holds a 40% market share in the production of road repair and recycling machines while in terms of asphalt thermo containers and gap filling machines the Company’s market share is 30%. Major customers include mainly state owned enterprises, budget units and enterprises, local government units, road maintenance enterprises of various levels, municipal utility companies as well as construction companies specialising in the repair and maintenance of road infrastructure. Sale of products is mainly made to domestic customers. Machines are produced in small series and single pieces. Company’s basic strategic assumptions include e.g.; (I) launching a new product – welded constructions, (II) introducing other manufacturer’s products to Company’s offerings in order to eliminate seasonality of revenues (III) complete computerisation of the Company to improve the management system. Prospects for the development of the road repair and maintenance sector are highly dependent on the trends on the road- and bridge- work market. Investment demand for road machines is driven by the level of demand for road construction and repairs as well as real capabilities to meet such demands.
