Description of activity

The Company’s core activities include production, distribution and sale of central heating, hot tap-water, process steam (in Chrzanów, Trzebinia, Libiąż, Poręba, Sosnowiec and Radomsko administrative districts), as well as production and sale of electric energy (for the needs of Radomsko Combined Heat and Power Plant). The Company also provides an extensive range of services. PEC Chrzanów is a member of DALKIA TERM S.A. capital group 100% shares of which are held by DALKIA POLSKA S.A. Owing to the location, PEC Chrzanów forms a valuable component of DALKIA network in the southern part of Poland. Due to its technical and economic capabilities, the Company will be able to create within the period of 2-3 years a system integrating smaller sources of heating, e.g. heating systems located in the adjacent administrative districts. The Company is currently implementing a market development strategy in the scope of heat-distribution networks of Chrzanów, Trzebinia, Lubiąż, Poręba, Radomsko and Sosnowiec. Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. w Chrzanowie owns infrastructure required to perform activities related to production and distribution of heat (including heat sources and networks). Due to its technical and economic resources as well as a wide range of services, PEC Chrzanów presently enjoys a stable position on the local market. Among the main recipients of its services are housing cooperatives, commercial companies, institutions and tenant management organisations. The Company supplies heating to over 1500 sites in southern Poland. Up to 39% of this heating is generated in the Chrzanów plant.
