Biuro Studiów i Projektów Łączności TELEPROJEKT Sp. z o. o. seated in Warsaw - in liquidation

Description of activity

The core activities of the company include town planning and construction and technological design in the scope of copper, optical fibre and radio telecommunication networks, data transmission networks, broadband networks, low-current installations, integrated digital networks, voice alarm control and indicating equipment, power networks, water and sewerage systems as well as general construction projects.
With respect to design, the company offers its services primarily in the following branches: telecommunications, construction, water-pipe networks, sewerage systems, power generation and structural networks.
The company provides its services only on the domestic market for entities operating both in the public and the private sector. Most of the design jobs carried out by TELEPROJEKT Sp. z o.o. come from public tenders or competitive bids carried out by commercial companies and partnerships.
Additional revenues are generated from the rental of space in the company’s office building located in an attractive setting at Długa 23/25 in Warsaw.
Sectors in which the Company operates are expected to see growth in the value of implemented investments, mainly due to extensive use of EU funds (e.g. national information technology development program and renovation and construction of water and sewage systems). The structural networks sector, i.e. low-current installations (fire protection, CCTV, access control and monitoring systems, etc.) or municipal video surveillance, as well as technical building security systems might also have significant influence on further development of the company. The constantly developing road-building market (with projects requiring reconstruction of the exiting telecom infrastructure) should also create considerable opportunities for the company.
Teleprojekt’s main competitors are large contractors with own design units, as well as small companies (of several employees) established by licensed designers in the respective sector.
At present, telecom operators are among the largest potential customers for design services. However fixed line operators have been observed to lose competitive edge to mobile operators. A dynamic growth in investments in this sector is fuelled by the necessity to develop the UMTS network and to increase the number of base stations.
A separate group of potential customers are public administration and local government bodies due to the funds from the European Union for the development of information society.
The main prospective customers from the water and sewage sector are local government bodies and entities providing water and sewage services as part of executing obligations of own communes.
