Description of activity

The core business of the Company is focused on the following areas: production of wires, nails as well as products made of sintered metal powders. The Company specialises in the production of the so-called polished bare wires of high quality and nails for thermal insulation systems. Market share of Fabryka Drutu in terms of the basic range of products is ca. 4%, according to estimates made by the Company. Other business areas include: tool manufacture, rental of real property and retail sale not in stores. The major customers of company manufactured products are processors of wire into ironmongery, component parts of machinery and equipment, or for nail production. Also, customers include wholesale businesses and metal stores, processors (EJOT, KOELNER) as well as machine-building, transportation equipment and agricultural machinery companies. Basic assumptions underpinning the development strategy of the Company include: developing technically sophisticated products, maintaining a competitive edge over competitors in terms of quality and increasing mobility of the manufacturing process to improve timeliness of order completion.
