Description of activity

The company performs works associated with the construction, repair and maintenance of roads and produces bituminous mix for its own needs and the needs of others. The company's activity also includes the maintenance of roads during winter periods. The nature of it activity determines the type of company's customers. These are mostly specific institutions dealing with the management of public roads of particular categories (divisions of the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways), municipalities and local government offices. Contracts are awarded in the course of public procurement procedures. Mineral-bituminous mixture produced in the plant located  in Pyskowice is sold mainly to subcontractors. The company cooperates with several suppliers of necessary raw materials (aggregates, asphalt, fuel oil). The plant's capacity amounts to 60 tonnes per hour - which means a medium production level as compared with other manufacturers the capacity of which often exceeds 120 tonnes per hour. The company aims at further extension of its service range in the scope of activity it conducts. It concentrates its business activity on the area of Upper Silesia and neighbouring provinces, where it has already had a strong market position. The company will continue to fulfil its investment plan aimed at purchasing modern road machinery. The purchase of a modern bituminous mix plant is envisaged in the long-term strategy. The strategy also assumes to maintain its strong position in the regional scale. The company is one of the leading firms in the road construction industry. The road construction has big prospects in our country, mostly due to the planned infrastructure expansion for the EURO 2012 championship.
