Description of activity

The Company has more than 60 years of experience in the execution of a full range of construction and installation works at home and abroad, and has at its disposal a highly qualified team of employees.
At present, the Company provides construction and installation, transport and equipment, fair and exhibition as well as hotel and catering services. The construction and installation services provided mainly in the general construction play the dominant role in generating revenues for the Company, constituting 91% of the total turnover in 2009. The Company operates in southern Poland, in the area of Lesser Poland and Silesian voivodeships, having its operations in Kraków, Nowy Sącz, Oświęcim and Tarnów. The construction and installation sector is characterised by high fragmentation and in 2009 the market shares of the Company were estimated at approx. 1 % in the local market and 0.1 % in the domestic market.
The Company’s competitors in the domestic market include the largest construction companies operating in Poland as well as small and medium-sized firms operating locally. The main customers of the Company are public clients for which 2/3 of the domestic construction sales were accomplished in 2009. The Company provides its services on the domestic market as well as on the foreign markets, chiefly in Germany where it has a subsidiary in Frankfurt on the Main. In 2009, the foreign sales reached 10% of the total turnover.
The Company is focusing on maintaining its market position while preserving high profitability, aiming to extend its activity both in the territorial range within the area of Poland and in the sector range in the scope of infrastructure and industrial construction. At the same time, asset and personnel restructuring is being carried out.
The Company forms as the dominant entity a capital group together with TBS “Krak-System” S.A., which operates in the scope of public construction and also executes development projects in the area of Krakow.
