Description of activity

The company’s core activity is the construction and renovation of roads, construction of rain drainage systems, and manufacture of mineral and asphalt mixes.
The company is one of the four companies located in Rybnik offering similar type of manufacture. It has specialized equipment for surface works, including an asphalt paver, steel rollers (static and vibratory), a milling machine, a sprinkler, as well as earthwork and paving equipment. The production capacity of the company’s bitumen plant WMB-30 is approx. 20 to 25 thousand tons of mineral and asphalt mixes per year.
The main customers of the services provided by Rejonowe Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych Rybnik Spółka z o.o. are county and provincial road authorities as well as town halls in the territory of Silesia. The company’s area of operation is within the radius of 30 to 40 km from its base.
The main investment plan of the company is replacement of its existing bitumen plant WMB–30 for a new one with a capacity of about 100 tons per hour, and simultaneous successive replacement of the existing machine park.
Due to a dense network of asphalt roads in the area of the Rybnik Coal Area, and owing to high decapitalization of this network, the market of road construction works is extremely attractive. This allows the company to plan constant growth of revenues despite huge competition.
