Description of activity

BRECO’s business is the production of runners and other floor coverings using the Araloopa technology (unwoven cloth technology). Also, the Company produces transportation interlayers with the use of the Maliwat technology (non-woven thread stitch technology), needled non-wovens as well as RKL garnetted stock (recycling). 80% of Company’s output is exported. Runners and mats are mainly exported to Ukraine, transportation interlayers to Germany, Scotland, France, needled non-wovens to Netherlands and Czech Republic. The leading BRECO product is primarily the manufacture of needled non-wovens, which are mainly sold to tufting (floor covering) manufacturers to be used as padding, as well as geotextiles for the construction of roads, motorways, melioration, roof coverings. The second most important business area of the Company is the recycling of textile waste with subsequent utilization of such stock in the production of transportation interlayers, RKL needled non-wovens as well as other component type products. Statistical data obtained by the Company as well as the data received from the Association of Geotextile and Geosynthetics Manufacturers show a stable growth of demand both domestic and worldwide for the products on which BRECO intends to focus their business activity in the following years.
