Conference on Privatisation Plan in Paris
On 29 September 2009 a conference dedicated to Poland’s Privatisation Program 2009-2011 was held in the Polish Embassy in Paris. The conference was addressed to French entrepreneurs interested in investments in Poland and engaged, among others, in the energy, pharmaceutical, chemical, construction, and transport sectors.
Conference attendees were among other: Tomasz Orłowski – Ambassador of Poland in Paris, Wojciech Chmielewski – Deputy Head of the Department of Ownership Supervision and Privatisation III of the Ministry of Treasury, Counsel Minister Andrzej Szteliga – Head of the Department of Trade Promotion and Investments of the Polish Embassy in France, and Hanna Stypulkowska-Goutierre – Chair of the Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce in France.
The representative of the Ministry of Treasury presented to the French investors the opportunities of capital investments in Polish companies earmarked for privatisation in the years 2009-2011. He described the key privatisation projects, including in sectors of interest to the investors, and presented the privatisation procedures of Polish companies.
The meeting was organised by the Polish Chamber of Industry and Commerce in France and the Department of Trade Promotion and Investments of the Polish Embassy in France.
The conference was held as part of the strategy of the Ministry of Treasury aimed at active promotion of the assumptions of the Privatisation Program for the years 2009-2011 among potential foreign investors.
