The transfer of assets of Stocznia Gdynia and Stocznia Szczecińska Nowa, on which the new buyers will perform their business activity, is in progress. At the same time, judicial proceedings which will result in the preparation and approval of the list of the shipyards’ creditors, are being conducted.

 

As a result of the tenders and auctions to date, 25 out of 37 asset components of the Stocznia Gdynia S.A. assets and 9 out of 19 asset components of Stocznia Szczecińska Nowa Sp. z o.o. assets have been sold. New investors have signed respective conclusive agreements concerning the purchased asset components which are being transferred to them successively.

 

Judicial proceedings aimed at preparation and approval of the list of the shipyards’ creditors, are in progress. The Compensation Administrator, after receiving a favourable opinion of the Committee of Creditors, intends to continue the sale of warehouse racking and shelving, movables, equipment, tools and other small objects not included in the asset components.

 

If the investor is found while the compensation proceedings are pending, the sale procedure may be continued in compliance with the applicable laws and the requirements imposed by the European Commission’s decisions.

 

The Minister of Treasury has informed the European Commission of this approach, and the Commission will be regularly informed of the activities taken as part of the ongoing compensation proceedings as heretofore.
