Mikołaj Wild was born on 4 April 1976 in Warsaw.
He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw (first class honours degree), American Law School at the University of Warsaw and the University of Florida (second class honours degree). Author of several academic publications and studies.
From February 2015, Mikołaj Wild was a head of the Department for Studies and Analysis in the General Solicitors' Office of the Polish Treasury. Since 2008, he has worked for the Institute of Justice where he has been Head of the Political Law Division since 2013.
In 2003-2006 he was a member of the Team of Judicial Decisions and Studies of the Constitutional Tribunal Office. In 2006 appointed a Counsel and in 2009 - Senior Counsel of the General Solicitors' Office of the Polish Treasury. He took part in many court proceedings, including over one hundred cases examined by the Supreme Court, cases concerning consolidation of the power engineering sector, open pension funds, implementation of European law, in cases related to building works, reprivatisation cases or class actions. He participated in preparing the Government opinion in proceedings in the European Court of Human Rights, Constitutional Tribunal and legislative works devoted to the judicial organisation.
